a team-based outdoor game where two teams compete to retrieve a designated object placed in the center and return it to their side without getting tagged by the opposing team

Steal the bacon is an outdoor game played with two teams. A small object, such as a beanbag or ball, is placed in the center of the playing area, which is typically a large open space. Each player is assigned a number, and when the game begins, the leader calls out a number. The players with that number from each team run to the center and try to grab the object and bring it back to their side without being tagged by the opponent. If a player is tagged, they must stop and return to their team. The team that successfully steals the object the most times wins.
